Equipment maintenance history that travels with the asset
Equipment maintenance history connects a durable asset identity to recorded service, repairs, components and supporting evidence. AssetSeal preserves that continuity in proof objects and exports a verifiable workspace, so the record can remain inspectable beyond the originating application.
Keep service evidence available through staff changes, reviews and changes to the systems used to manage equipment.
A turbine generator has a manufacturer reference, model and serial number. Its operator records a service event and attaches a report. Another reviewer receives the exported workspace and checks its proof and derived history independently. The public industrial example uses a fictional machine with real Receiz proofs.
Put it to work.
- 01
Explore the working example
Open AssetSeal and choose Open the real example. Inspect the asset overview, timeline and evidence. The example is clearly separated from your own records and demonstrates the same inspection surfaces.
- 02
Create your own asset record
Open your Receiz ID using your Identity Seal, then choose Create AssetSeal. Enter the asset name, manufacturer, Asset ID, model, serial and manufacturing date. Check these identifiers against the actual equipment and source documents.
- 03
Record service and attach evidence
Use Record to enter a supported lifecycle event. Add permitted photographs, captured media or files, then review the event before admitting it. Keep observed facts, work performed and any unresolved findings explicit.
- 04
Export and verify the workspace
Use Export workspace, then open the package in AssetSeal’s verifier on another prepared device. Review verification and reconstructed state. The export includes all workspace assets and attachments; inspect its full scope before sharing.
What the evidence establishes.
A verified service record establishes its supported proof and admitted history. It is not a physical inspection, an independent certification, or a guarantee that equipment is safe to operate. Cross-owner transfer and third-party role workflows require their own implemented application integration.
Questions before you start.
Does AssetSeal replace a CMMS or ERP?
AssetSeal provides portable asset identity, evidence and verified lifecycle history. Scheduling, purchasing and other operational systems can have separate responsibilities. Confirm actual integrations instead of assuming an automatic connection.
Can I scan asset tags in the console?
Yes. The console generates asset QR references and supports identifying an asset from a tag. Camera scanning begins when you select Scan with camera. A tag is a reference, not proof of custody.
Does exporting share only the selected asset?
The current Export workspace action includes all workspace assets and attachments. Review the whole package before sharing; it is not a selective single-asset disclosure action.
