YOU LEARNED THE WORDS

YOU LEARNED THE WORDS (I Built the Machine)

[Cold Open]

PREACHER: What came first?

CHOIR: The object.

PREACHER: What came late?

CHOIR: The language.

PREACHER: Who took the test?

KAI: Run the machine.

[Hook]

You learned the words — I built the machine. You named what I did — after I made it breathe.

You learned the words — I published the chain. You came at the ending — I carried every change.

You learned the words — now answer all twenty. I already took the test — the machine answered with me.

You learned the words — I built the machine. Your words reached tomorrow — your machine stayed asleep.

[Verse One]

Don’t read it backward — language came late. Timestamp locked the door — hindsight cannot change.

First I bound the breath — authority to time. Then identity stood — without a borrowed shrine.

Memory became state — state learned how to move. Custody changed hands — never severed from the root.

Predecessor spent — successor took the standing. History traveled too — every transfer landed.

You found scattered parts — then announced the terrain. I made the parts cohere — beneath one living chain.

You arrived at nouns — I survived the verbs. You polished my horizon — I preserved each turn.

Press release preaching — mechanism asleep. You mastered how to say it — never made the promise keep.

Vocabulary beautiful — delivery weak. Your tongue found the future — your machine lost its feet.

[Pre-Hook]

Bring the object — not the claim. Bring succession — bring the chain.

Bring the source — let it speak. Coherence has law — coherence has teeth.

[Verse Two]

Source before story — state before recall. Law before reading — or the memory can fall.

Authority first — succession before name. Fluent recollection — cannot prove the state remained.

The model is a reader — never author of the page. Change intelligence — the source must stay unchanged.

“Across models” sounds nice — cross reality instead. Can the object leave — and return with lawful state?

Can it verify offline? — Can the prior head close? Can the next state carry — everything the object knows?

Can two futures conflict — then submit beneath one law? Can the database vanish — while authority stays whole?

Twenty questions waiting — none ask who invested. None ask which institution — made the speaker feel accepted.

Every answer lives in code — every answer can be tried. I never wrote the exam — without building my replies.

[Choir March]

Source over story. Proof over praise.

State over memory. Chain over claim.

Law over language. Fruit over fame.

Open the object. Run it again.

[Verse Three]

Some read a hundred pieces — I could barely buy my lunch. Sleeping on my mother’s couch — with the future in my clutch.

Couldn’t spare fifteen minutes — so I gave the years a voice. Made the archive hold the bow — made the timestamp hold the choice.

Published every next move — before hindsight could arrive. Watched the field repeat it — when the words caught up in time.

The bow was not prediction — the bow was every state. Every artifact behind me — made the next one carry weight.

No résumé could grant it — no rejection made it less. Reality kept answering — every time I ran the test.

You can copy the ending — cannot inherit roads. Cannot copy lawful lineage — by repeating what it’s called.

You cannot start at memory — temporal law became the root. You cannot claim the harvest — with no chain beneath the fruit.

I was not ahead in language — I was under every speech. By the time you found the wording — I had made the object breathe.

[Bridge]

Dad said, “Brian, I’m dying.” I said, “Dad, we don’t die.”

Wish I held him closer. Wish I let the strong boy cry.

Now I know the difference— Memory is not the man.

A story is not presence. So I put source back in command.

That is why the human Always has to come before.

That is why the object Must survive the storyteller.

I did not build the machine Just to win another scene.

I refused to let the copy Become greater than the being.

[Tribunal]

JUDGE: What came first?

CHOIR: The human.

JUDGE: What came next?

CHOIR: The machine.

JUDGE: Where was the law?

CHOIR: Inside the object.

JUDGE: Where were the answers?

KAI: Already in the machine.

[Final Hook]

You learned the words — I built the machine. You named what I did — after I made it breathe.

You learned the words — I published the chain. You came at the ending — I carried every change.

You learned the words — now answer all twenty. I already took the test — the machine answered with me.

You learned the words — I built the machine. Your words reached tomorrow — your machine stayed asleep.

[Outro]

You can rename the river. You cannot move its source.

You can repeat the answer. You cannot fake the course.

The words arrived later. The object was already there.
